Melissa is an excellent yoga instructor. She is very good at assessing and modifying her class to accommodate all skill levels. Every class is tailored to target different areas of the body (heart/lungs, hips, middle/lower back, shoulders etc.) and she is always asking for feedback from the class of what we would like to work on. She is very approachable and knowledgeable in her practice. She incorporates slight modifications to traditional poses in order to work the muscle areas differently and breaks down difficult poses, ensuring that we are comfortable but challenged. Melissa is the only yoga instructor I have had that incorporates relaxation, aroma therapy, and massage into her flow class and I love it- her playlists are also terrific! Since attending her flow classes, have found my overall flexibility much improved (I'm not as tight in my back, shoulders, and hips). I highly recommend her as an instructor!

Melissa's restorative yoga class employs props to help you melt into the poses, as well as aromas and massage so you leave the class relaxed and ready to take on the day. Melissa also does a great job offering different sensation levels of each pose so that her students can adjust to best suit their needs. For anyone who is a restorative yoga enthusiast, you don't want to miss the chance to take a class with Melissa!
